Antique map of Neu Holland (Australia) made by German cartographer, Joseph Meyer.
Most likely part of his encyclopedia, Meyer Conversations-Lexicon, fist published in 1857.
Mounted and framed in a 12 x 14 wood frame, beautifully veneered in what appears to be Birdseye Maple.
The back of the frame states that the map is circa 1820's. After some investigation I discovered that the map is more than likely circa 1850.
