WOW is the only way to describe this little mighty reel. True vintage - made in Utica, New York
this beautiful level wind reel has spiral gears and a 100 yard spool line capacity
This reel sat in my grandfathers curio cabinet for as long as i can remember. He loved collecting random things - and this was one of them. (he was a fisherman too ! )
Level wind moves as smooth as new, and there is a little bit of lubricating oil visible - my grandfather likely did that to keep it running smoothly.
I dont believe this reel was ever used - there is no sign of fishing wear on it - only from handling and due to age.
Listing it as used, and sold as is - but to me this would appear to be closer to NOS - New, Old Stock. Please review photos and judge for yourself.
It sat in a box pictured in photos - although the box is clearly not original and belongs to a different reel.
Comes with extra reel handle - not sure if it belongs to this real but looks to be the right size.
